Purple is seen as having sacred meaning, the flowers are considered delicate and precious.
The color purple has a variety of effects on the mind and body, including uplifting spirits, calming the mind and nerves, enhancing the sacred, creating feelings of spirituality, increasing nurturing tendencies and sensitivity, and encouraging imagination and creativity.

Purple is the color of high Divinity. Know that there are Divine beings of light throughout the Universe, Galaxy and Cosmos. There are Divine Beings of Heaven including all the Angels, Archangels and more. There is also most importantly your Soul. Our soul knows what’s closest to Home. High Divinity. The true Essence of our Soul Being. And Purple represents that.
People closest to spirituality usually identify with Purple in some way.

The Iris as seen here has three upright petals signifying faith, valor and wisdom. It has long since been thought of as a high sign of Divinity.
It is also a sign of Dignity and Strength
When we stay close to our Divinity our health improves, mind, body, spirit and soul.
We also know that the essence of Love heals. It reminds us of who we really are.
There is no better reminder of Divine Love than that of a Rose.
The precious flower holds the secrets of Unconditional Love
Remind yourself to always be true to yourself and to others.
We are all infinite beings of light.
How do you feel about the color purple? How does it have meaning in your life?

You summed up my love of purple Heather! Also, it brings to mind St. Germain of the Violet Flame, who I have loved all my life. Your images are beautiful…thank you!

I have always loved the purple of the iris when I was gardening and make sure that there is some purple, even a little, when I decorate with flowers and plants indoors as well. Purple reminds me of spring.

GORGEOUS-osity…is there such a word? Well, I just invented it for you, Heather.
Purple has been the main color I’ve worn and used in all my marketing/invitation materials for a decade plus.

I love the color purple and connect it to its spirituality and power. It is also the color of epilepsy awareness and domestic violence awareness both issues that are near to my heart. You descriptions of purple are beautiful and I especially love that the color encourages nurturing! Thank you!

My family knows I go a bit crazy over purple, there is just something about the color that makes me happy. One of my favorite traditions has to do with the first blooms of purple in the new year. I was told that all the blooms that are purple are all the truths that will be spoken that year. I have never looked at flowers the same way and I always think of this when I see purple wild flowers.
